It's been a long time since I've gotten to travel for a show. I think that last time I went on a girls road trip was for my bachelorette party where the only musical performances we saw were in drag. Not that it wasn't fun or anything - but this should be different. For one, I should remember a whole lot more of it.
A friend of mine and I are heading up to Charlotte to see a band that I've never really heard of - The Old 97's. My friend lent me some of their albums to listen to and I kinda like them. They're a little country, a little rock, a little iron-grass. Really nice stuff actually.
But the best part of this trip (besides the quality time with my friend) is that there is a Nordy's in Charlotte!!! I can't express how excited I am to go to an actual mall with a Nordstrom. I LOVE Nordstrom! I could care less about the mall part, but that's what comes with the package. And the icing is that their Semi-Annual sale is going on!!
I'll have to post pictures if I purchase anything cool. :-D
Now if I could only get a decent salt bagel with veggie cream cheese - I could die a happy person.
