In my search for a new hobby, I came across some kits on etsy for needlefelting. FancyTiger is the shop and there are several to choose from. I opted to not go political, but seasonal instead with the pumpkin and crow kits.
This is my end product:
Cute, eh?
I think so - so don't tell me if you think they're hideous. I simply won't care.
I did make a second crow, but it looks a bit like someone stepped on Gonzo. Really not photogenic.
I'm also trying my hand at some papier-mache and salt dough sculpting. I've used salt dough before and really enjoyed it. So far the papier-mache stuff is messy as hell. Might as well be using leftover grits or something.
